New Junior Section to be formed

A successful funding bid has been made to the Children's Chest grant pot. The funding, totalling nearly £4,000, will provide a base, uniforms and training for twenty 10 - 12 year olds. New marketing materials will be developed to recruit members from local schools. Unit Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Gavin Redhead said "We are extremely grateful to the CVS for supporting us in this venture. We have previously had a very strong Junior Section, with many of the juniors going on to join the senior section at 12."

Any 10 - 12 year olds wishing to join the Junior Section should either contact the Commanding Officer on 01254 774996 or turn up at Leamington Road Baptist Church, Granville Road, Blackburn on a Monday or Thursday night, 7pm.
